Being Human
Beneath the surface of the earth
I hear a whisper
A calling
I hear a beckoning
To come closer
To listen with my heart
To follow the stream
Into the quiet of a different world
Walking the tree lined hallways
With the earth as my floor
I am snuggling
Into the arms of the Divine
I am present as water falls
Down my cheeks and down the falls
The rocks are still
Holding water gracefully
Together they are food for new life
The earth does not ask
Why am I the ground?
The rock does not ask
When do I get to move?
The water does not ask
Am I done yet?
They are separate and live as one
So it is, in our own being
That we, like the earth
Stay grounded in the core of our Selves
And like the water
Allow our lives to flow
Letting go of the past
While embracing the present
Finally, May we, like the rocks
Use our strength to build a solid foundation
Grounded in faith, creating a new life
As we join together and live as one

Affirmation of Me
I am standing up in who I am
Ready for what is in store
I am waiting until I am ready
So I can walk on through the door
The universe is ready
To manifest my dreams
I live each day in gratitude
I say exactly what I mean
I no longer think in negative ways
I am more positive than before
With my clarity of intention
I am bringing light into my core
As issues come to surface
I have a chance to heal
Bringing forth my heart’s desire
My loving I can feel
Awareness
I am aware
Of my presence in this chair
I am a rock
Grounded
Surrounded by others
Who are a part, of the stream
That is my life
Suddenly
The tide changes and I am thrown
Into an ocean of possibilities

A place

That every choice I make

To become present to what IS
For I am what IS

I rise
In this moment
Feeling so incredibly blessed
To be alive and present
With each breath
I am love

In my truest Self
Opening my life to you

As tears of joy flow

Being Love
To care enough

To dive right in and say
The truth that is present
For me in this moment
It is begging to be told today
I am inviting you to stretch
And gently go within
To apply your love, to the parts that hurt
You give me a knowing grin
You are open to expanding
The truth within your heart
Spirit is present as light shines down
I see healing is about to start
You breathe real deep and start to cry
Then you let it out
You are making a shift within you
That is what the process is all about
Everything that has held you back
From the truth of who you are
You now have the freedom
To stand in the light
And shine like the brightest star
Blinding Light
I am blinded by the light of Spirit
Knocking me off my seat
Could you ease up on your loving
Why have you chosen me
Can't you see that I am scared
Could there be someone better
I know what I want my life to be
If only I could get myself together
Once I can accept myself
For who I really am
Then I will be ready
To follow out your plan
To stand up in front of others
Without a sense of shame
Then I will be ready, you can call me out by name
Once I gain more confidence
Letting go of the past
Once I become who I want to be
Then we can have a blast
I guess I am attached
To the old ways of doing
Stuck in my head and what my eyes can see
Instead of being present in my being
Promise you will stay
Please, do not leave me, here alone
I need a friendly, hand to hold
Until I am fully grown
Boundaries
Saying yes, saying no
Clarifying my intention
Allowing energy to flow
Opening up, in full expression
Giving voice to my soul
Standing up in who I am
I am healthy, wealthy and whole
Asking for what I truly want
My desires for my life
To be in the midst of the Beloved
To be a loving wife
I want to live a life of peace
Of beauty, grace and ease
I want to live my life in truth
I want to release the need to please
I want to enjoy a simple life
Filled with hope and joy
An abundance of faith and financial success
So I can breathe, relax and enjoy
Enjoy a life of speaking
Traveling about the land
Speaking of ways, to transform a life
In a way, others can understand
To share my thoughts, with clarity
With courage and inner strength
To live in a more, loving world
I will go to any length
I will think outside the box
I will live, from my inner core

Breath
An opening, a releasing
An acceptance of what is
An invitation
Into the core of my soul
As I breathe, I stretch
I embrace my willingness
To invite the goddess
That lives within
To pour out of me
Like a waterfall
I drop into the center of my being
Like the sun, I rise again
To meet the divine
That connects my very essence
With the stars in the heavens

On this journey we call life
Breathe
The breath of Spirit
Is like the wind

Ever present
In the holding of my soul

I am scared
I am procrastinating
I am avoiding my past
Pretending
That it never really happened
Protecting myself
Hiding behind my smile
Living inside my bubble
Of safety and security
I watch the world
From inside my own
I am torn
I want to break free
And embrace another
To know that I am worthy of love
At the core of my soul
Where I am letting go of the old
Embracing the new
I am in awe
As the light of love
Melts the past away
Healing the hurt
In my healing
I am crossing the line
To create a new world
Of light, love and laughter
A world where I am free
To speak my truth
In confidence
It is in the celebration
Of my own loving
That I am able
To celebrate that same loving
That resides within you
Checking In
To understand your thoughts
Is to understand you
To understand you
Is to understand myself
It is in my own clarity
That I bring clarity
Into the world
The way I see truth
The way I see
That which is unseen
The invisible
The unspoken
The untouched
The hidden parts of us all
In my awareness
I listen to your words
Your thoughts
I listen to your soul
I am present
In my presence
I am aware
In my awareness
I am clear
In my clarity
I know
I understand
I hear, I believe
I know that I am not you
I understand that we
In our humanity
Have our own experiences
I hear what you are sharing
I believe your words to be Truth
I am honoring you and your process
So that I might serve
As a safe resting place
Along the way
Clarity
The absence of thought
Only feeling
In the depths of my soul
That ignites the passion
For my life
Passion for finding purpose
In my humanity
In my doing
In my being
In my divinity
Passion for finding purpose
In my loving
Commitment to Self
In the past, life was easy
As I quietly followed others
Instead of taking the lead
Now the times have changed
I want to stand up in who I am
So I can succeed
Taking a step
In a forward motion
My commitment to be free
Becoming clear on what I want
So I can live as me
How exactly can I get
This life I so desire
Standing up in who I am
I feel like I am on fire
The passion I have for speaking
For clarifying the Truth
For sharing my love
Of words and their meaning
It started in my youth
I wanted to share my soul
I was not sure, quite what to do
I felt like I, was going to explode
How would I make it through
My love for the Beloved
Lights me up inside
When I speak my poetry
I no longer want to hide
Today
I am a Poet
I am uniquely me
I am beautiful
Inside and out
I am blessed in my humanity
Communicate with Love
Listening to another
Not knowing what to say
I am waiting for the perfect moment
Hoping my words will be okay
That was in the past
When I spoke my words in fear
Now I am learning
To give feedback effectively
My thoughts and words are clear
I am listening with an open heart
As I read between the lines
Hearing what you don’t want to say
I assure you there is time
We take a breath and let it out
I am centered in my core
I am checking in with my authentic Self
This is different than I have done before
I ask if you are open
To some things I have to share
I speak with love and compassion
To let you know I care
If you are not ready
I respect your personal space
I acknowledge you for who you are
And remember, life is not a race
Our journey is a process
Not knowing what is in store
As we grow into our authentic Selves
We will come back, with our hearts open wide
Excited and asking for more
Conversation with Soul
To give my soul a voice
Whatever would I say
Close my eyes, close my ears
I open my heart to pray
Oh my sweet, sweet Spirit
Please send in the light
I open myself to the deepest healing
I no longer want to fight
Release me of my judgments
Please let my tears run free
So I can live a life of loving
And finally live as me
Creation of Love
The beat of my heart
Is like the ocean
A connection to breath
To movement
A connection to life
The beat of my heart
Is a connection to love
Love that brings peace
And stillness
Into my being
Love that shines light
Into the darkness
Turning night into day
I feel that love
Here
In the sand
Remembering
Who I truly am
I am a work of art
Created by the Creator
Filled with light
Illuminating the darkness
Speaking the truth
Just as I am
So too are we
All of us
A creation of love
Created by the Creator
A priceless work of art
A living sculpture
Of the divine
Of grace
Of peace
A living light
Of love
Discernment
To make a choice
To step forward
In my essence
Is to be seen
In my vulnerability
In my brokenness
I rise
I acknowledge
All that is
All that is
In the essence of Spirit
All that is
In the light of Truth
I rise
Perfect
Complete
And
Whole
Divine Partnership
I am in partnership
With the Divine
That comes from Spirit
And lives in me
I am in communion
With all that is
The stars in the heavens
And the fish in the sea
Embracing the Beloved
An eagle I will be
I am welcoming the change
Maybe a bluebird
I guess we will see
Flying into the heavens
Peace is all around
Listening to the silence
There is music that can be found
Dreaming with the Divine
I am taking time with Spirit
Taking time with me
Waking up to my divinity
I am opening my eyes to see
See the glory of the day
Listening for Spirit to teach
I thought I heard dear Spirit say
That my dreams were within my reach
Oh my sweet, sweet child
You are graced with a loving heart
Let that love
Go crazy and wild
You are a work of art
The universe has its beauty
The earth, sea and sky
You are filled with an eagle's beauty
It is time for you to fly
Spread your wings wide open
Soaring so all can see
Wherever you are
Whatever you do
You are a magnificent reflection of me
It is time to land
On solid ground
Let us walk along the shore
Grace and ease is the way of life
With loving at our core
The core of all humanity
The truth in who we are
Shine your light
So all can see
Your spirit from afar
Dwell in the Arms of God
To dwell in the arms of God
I reach into my soul
I lift myself into the highest realms
I am now made whole
For who I am is beauty
Trust and honesty
I have the tools to live my life
In truth and authenticity
The authentic part of life
Lives within my heart
I am open to the love
That resides within
For I am truly a work of art
I was created by the Spirit
I was created by the Light
I was created in the image of God
An image that is out of sight
The sun and all its splendor
The stars up in the sky
I have a presence of knowing
The love from my God
That makes me want to fly
Fly into the heavens
Dive deep to the ocean floor
Exploring the wonders
In the beauty of nature
I can only imagine what is in store
Earthly Vessel
To be in this body
My spirit yearns to be free
To float around the universe
Loving unconditionally
The warmth of Spirit
Penetrates my soul
It is the essence of my being
The loving at my core
I want to see my loving
I want to let it be
No need to control it
It is energy
To find a balance within this body
Where my spirit finds a home
To embrace my Self
In my divinity, in my humanity
To know that I am never, ever alone
Essence of Loving
To see my loving essence
I must pretend that I am blind
I must take a look, deep within my soul
I think I am losing my mind
There within lies the truth
That loving can not be seen
It passes through the air we breathe
And the tears, that wash us clean
Sitting in my loving
I am reflecting the goodness in you
I am serving as a light to your soul
So that you can see it too
Seeing the loving essence
Is a very simple tool
To live in a loving world
Instead of being cruel
It doesn’t take a miracle, to be in the here and now
Stand very still, for a single moment
And I will tell you how
Close your eyes, breathe real deep
There is nothing you need to know
Love yourself, from the inside out
There is nowhere you need to go
To stop and be is the key
That opens the door to your soul
When you acknowledge the loving
That is already there
The broken pieces become whole
Eye of the Storm
I am living on the edge
I will never be the same
I am letting go of all the hurt
My love will still remain
The story of my past has ended
This I tell you is true
Staying in the present moment
What is a person to do
I feel a rise of energy
Passing through my being
My soul knows the truth, of who I am
My ego is not sure what it is seeing
In the present moment
There is nothing I need to do
I am being held in the arms of Spirit
Wisdom brings me through
I know that I am safe; I no longer have to hide
I am surrounded by the light of grace
I release my tears and cry
I lift my head so slowly
I look into your eyes
I quiet my inner voices
I relax and then I sigh
I am ready and I am willing
To embrace this new life of mine
I am present in each moment
Everything unfolds in time
Field of Love
In the field of my heart
I am lying in the arms
Of the Beloved
In silence
We sit
As loving shines forth
To all
Through me
In my silence
I am able to hear
The cry
The pain
I am able to feel
The loving
The warmth
I am able to feel
The compassion of others
Who are silent with me
Becoming still
In their own transformation
Their own healing
Their own journey
For in our silence
We grow together
We become strong
We build bonds of love
Loving that transforms
That unites
Loving
That in silence
Brings about peace
Within ourselves
Our communities
Peace within our world
Fountain of Light
In the reflection of my soul
A fountain of light
Springs forth
Illuminating the truth
Of my divine essence
In the divinity of grace
I bathe in the light
Of the beloved
Who resides in me
In the core of my being
Where I become whole
Freedom in Forgiving
To embrace a life of loving
The key is to forgive
Healing issues as they arise
So I can fully live
Living in the moment
Breathing in the light
Applying my love, to parts that hurt
I no longer have to fight
I am gentle with myself
As I invite Spirit to come in
I open myself, to a new way of being
My new life can now begin
Gift of Love
I open my arms
In loving grace
For the peace
That you hold
In your eyes
In your heart
In your becoming
In your transforming
I open my arms
So that I
Am able to embrace
The truth
That is
The giftedness of you
God Mind
When I am in my creative mind
I am living in a Universal mind
When I am living in and experiencing
The love and serenity of God
I am in God mind
The Universal source of light
Envelopes me, holds me
Guides me
The Universal source of all that is
And all that is to come
At that moment
Emanates from and through me
From every cell of my being
The light of God
The light of grace
The light of my soul
Gives birth, to a new me
In each moment
When I am engaged
In a conversation of love
World mind cannot exist
Love is more powerful than fear
Anxiety and hopelessness melt away
I am opened
To a life of abundance and prosperity
A life of joy and connection
A constant connection with Spirit
Today
I take a step
To live my life
To be in the world
And yet not of the world
It is my intention
To live my life
In such a way
That I serve as a representation
Of God
In human form
When I write, my soul sings
I am in alignment
With my true purpose
I am in love with my Self
As I am
God’s creation
Of unconditional love
Stepping into the light of grace
I allow it to embrace me
Releasing and letting go
Of all that is no longer serving me
As I let go
The gates of fear are broken
I am flooded by a deep love
That I have never felt before
I see this love in everyone I meet
My heart aches for them
Wanting them to see what I see
The beauty that resides within them
Letting the fear melt away
I am tuning in and acknowledging
That I am a channel for God
Lighting the way for others
And building a brighter future
For myself, my community, my country
Building a brighter future for the world
Gratitude
When I wake up in the morning
And I don’t know what to do
I open my mind and I open my heart
Then I thank God for you
When the words won’t come
And there is much to be done
I know that I will be ok
I sit very still and open my soul
As I live, breathe and pray
I wonder where my life is headed
I hope I do not fail
I trust my God and I trust my faith
Sometimes I want to bail
When I doubt myself
Or my purpose on Earth
When I haven’t got a clue
I look in my heart
Where love got its start
I smile and thank God for you
The value of my life on earth
Is not measured in Silver or Gold
It is in the love I share, with others around
As I watch my life unfold
I live my life in faith
One step at a time
I am embracing my presence
Here on this earth
I am strengthened as I climb
I am traveling through the mountains
The valleys and the seas
I am letting go of all the hurts
And releasing the need to please
When my day seems empty
And I wonder what I have to give
I know that I, am guided by grace
I learn lessons as I live
I am opening up my heart, opening up my soul
I am opening my life, to a new way of being
I know that I am already whole
You see me as I am
There is nothing I need to do
I want you to know
You have touched my heart
I thank God for you
Growing Up
Thank you for your gift of presence
For the gift of being you
For holding me in my divinity
Until I could feel it too
I finally made the connection
Between my heart and head
The pain, it used to be so great
That I ended up in bed
Old beliefs that were no longer
Clouded up my mind
With dreams of who I could become
With thoughts that were unkind
It was safer not to think
Of all that could possibly be
Why would anything good
Ever happen to me
It was better to be safe, curled up nice and tight
Way down deep, inside my self
I was ready for a fight
I was fighting the inner beauty
That wanted to break free
Fighting the voice of Spirit
That was always inside of me
My radiant spirit shines
As it transcends all of me
I am changed, now and forever
I am able now to see
I am a magnificent presence
A gift of beauty to behold
I am embracing and sharing
My joy with others
As my life
Gracefully unfolds
Here I Am
Here I stand
Lost and alone
Not knowing which way to turn
I open my arms
I can tell that I have grown
There is so much I have to learn
Here I am; I am here
Holding on to your heart
Oh my dear, let me make this clear
I have loved you from the very start
I see you standing on the side of the road
There is a glow around your head
I feel like my heart, is going to explode
So I turn around instead
I turned around again
And covered up my eyes
When I finally came to see
I was met by your surprise
You opened up your arms
And put your hands in mine
You pulled me close; you let me cry
You told me, I was right on time
I looked into your eyes
And I could finally see
What it was, that you could see
When you looked at me
My beauty and my innocence
The sparkle in my eye
It was this life, I so desperately wanted
You told me I could fly
I was standing on my mountain
I was standing in the light
The view I had, from where I stood
Was definitely out of sight
I put my hands in yours
You pulled me close to you
You told me it was time to fly
And you would show me, what to do
