God’s Kingdom

He taught his people

everything pure,

uncertain now,

unsure.

Roses Aren’t Always Red

Roses aren’t always red,

I’d prefer yellow,

and I place them on her bed,

when she has her eyes closed for sleep,

and my love next to her just as deep.

Pain

I have no arms,

yet I can reach out,

I have no voice, but hear me shout,

I have no feel,

but trust me, I am very real.

I may be inane, perhaps insane,

I seek no fame,

But I have a name,

Pain,

and pain is my game.

Two Doors

The devil echoed

with an abrupt

tenor of threat,

God stood beside him,

in his dominating manner,

the devil stared,

as his demons glared,

measuring the night

as tempers flared,

and lost souls flailing in the light,

consumed for a moment,

with a cold chill.

It took all of God’s inner

resolve to stand still.

Two doors for human souls to enter,

one on the left, bright light,

the other on the right, dark night,

in the center of the room,

there stood a broken child,

a human child, one eye,

disfigured face,

a future for the human race.

The child represents

no more cleansing of all sins,

if evil wins.

There is only one choice,

enter the door with demonic roars,

or enter the door with an Angelic voice,

one choice, two doors.

Sky Crimes

Violent threats,

during these dangerous times,

they offer no regrets,

for these unthinkable sky crimes.

Snake Eyes

Like rolling the dice,

it was all in her head,

the baby rolled over,

not once, but twice,

and off the bed,

Snake Eyes!

And now he’s dead.

Dumped

No word spoken,

no movement,

just a simple token,

no doubt,

loneliness,

relentless,

without a calm,

maybe someday

maybe someway,

perhaps some other time,

but we were so closely aligned.

After Suicide

Her soul floated aimlessly,

death, she wondered,

will it be peaceful,

will it be calm?

She stole her own existence,

she stole her own life,

left behind in reality for her family to see,

was the blood stained knife,

and her answer to “ TO BE OR NOT TO BE!”

She Lived A Lifetime

She lived a lifetime,

and she had so much fun,

memories slipping,

and she doesn’t want to come undone,

She had fallen asleep reclined on the couch,

tea for one,

as her body shifted, and slouched.

There is an old cat next to her,

with tears in its eyes,

it too wants to die.

Her memories is all she wanted,

to live a lifetime and it’ll all be gone,

that’s cruelty and so wrong.

Why did God allow her to live so long?

She suddenly awakens,

and there is no one there,

alone to face death,

nobody cares.

She closes her eyes for one last time,

trying to hold the memories,

keeping it in her mind.

Now the memories were lost, fought to hold them at all cost,

no prevail as she dies in her sleep,

never realizing that her family were standing by her

lost in weep.

She didn’t know who we were?’

No,” replied the doctor.

You raise your children until they are full grown,

but without memories you’ll die alone.

Betrayal

Her eyes wide,

her chin fell,

she couldn’t hide,

the hurt inside,

and he could tell,

that she wouldn’t understand,

why he was in bed,

with another man,

and this was her tale,

of another betrayal.

Politics

Watch,

as they slam the door,

but not on organizations,

or Lobbyists,

but on the poor.

Cold Breath

The infant whispered,

his cry for help,

cold breath,

silent death,

musty smell,

the parents couldn’t tell,

he weeps,

they sleep

chilly night,

cold heart,

bright light,

sadly it waits,

to be discovered,

black birds covered the sky,

no silent cry,

and there was no apparent reason,

they covered the moon,

as death lingered,

a cold breath,

and death loomed.

Darkness Moved

The demon threw a blow,

and fell off balance,

without nothing to show,

the white winged Angel

grabbed the striking hand,

took control,

took command,

and pulled the demon through the door,

a simple twist,

and he threw the demon to the floor,

the demon thought about the attack,

as he landed solidly on his back,

he stayed down just for a moment,

and gathered his legs beneath him,

and was prepared to strike,

the Angel stood evenly, wings arched and wide,

firm feet so there would be no loss of stride,

the demon drew back hist fist,

released a blood curdling hiss,

dark eyes full of anger,

and hatred made him explode,

but the Angel reached into the demon’s rotting flesh,

grabbed his lower spine,

and yanked it out like a tree vine,

the demon hesitated, trembling with effort to stand,

he held himself up and to maintain command,

he tried to keep his calm, but it failed,

the anger on his face, replaced with shame,

failure was not part of the plan, or part of the game,

his dark features went blank,

he fell forward to the ground,

a light thump, but a heavy pound,

and his death had the desired impact,

it was what started the attack,

in this holy war of the land,

but the white wing Angel felt that something wasn’t right,

there was no light coming in from the distant night,

darkness moved,

the air smelled of doom,

the feeling inside him was gloom,

The Angel just defeated the Devil’s son,

revenge...

Was the word that shot through his head,

and nothing could be done,

the Angel looked down,

toward the ground,

heart missing a pound,

as the demon’s dark eyes, red,

rotting flesh, with purpose,

beating heart, now dead,

revenge...

Enough said!

Changed

I kissed her lips,

clearly unsure,

as we stood

on opposite sides.

I kissed her lips

her ivory fangs displayed

and her eyes as cold

as a winter’s night.

I kissed her lips,

she touched my face,

human to demon

what a disgrace,

and once bitten,

I felt changed.
