Ah wis sivven last wik, am gettin auld div ye ken
An ah decided tae mak ma brither ma pal
A moose lives in ma room, ahin the skirtin

An gied it a kiss, fir it lookit richt feart

Fed it, an bocht it a turnin wheel

Ane day wi saw, wi wirnae prepared
Fir in front o oor een, wir eicht bairns in the pen
Wi couldnae ca im horace, cos he wis a quine
So Hortense hid tae dae, a mither, nae a loon

Dinna worry, it a ended weel
Wi mair mice in detention, ah wis in demand
Fae a ma pals, fa a winted ane
An a pit Hortese back far she came fae
Ahin yon skirtin tae mither her bairns

Ah walked along the road ane day
An came across anither
Ah didnae ken fit wye tae go
So ah tossed a coin richt then
