“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.” —Proverbs 25:2
Have you ever thought much about the Glory of God? I hadn’t until recently. Lately though, the more I study God’s Word, the more I am struck by just how great our God is and how much He is glorified through His creation. Every flower that blooms, every sparrow that flies, every person that enjoys the blessings of this life—all testify to a God with an endless imagination and an incredible love for what He has made. It all reflects His glory.
Another thing that I recently realized is this: God is glorified in us through our joy and through our sorrow. Sometimes, we hurt in this life, but God is not mocked nor His reputation marred. After all, we chose to rebel against God in the first place. Rather, He is glorified in our sorrow when we turn to Him for help because “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)
It’s important to keep the big picture in mind too. This life is not the end. Jesus is coming back soon and when He does, He will come in might and in power; and we will see Him in all His majestic glory, no longer hidden by the veil of this flesh. My prayer is that this book encourages you to keep in mind that God is indeed glorious and that regardless of the circumstances of this life, He deserves our praise!

Bless,
David Andrew

The presence of God
is thick around me,
The Spirit is moving and breathing within me,
Breathe in, breathe out, open your eyes.
Hello, old friend,
it’s been a long time,
Let’s clean off the slate and rub off
the grime,
Breathe in, breathe out, open your eyes.
The pen is for
paper, the heart is for love,
The spirit of man meant for dwelling
above,
Breathe in, breathe out, open your eyes.
Awaken, refresh,
remember your song,
Release all your burdens of failure and wrong,
Be wise as a serpent and pure as a dove,
The Mountain of God together we’ll climb,
Life will continue and so shall I be,
Breathe in, breathe out, open your eyes.

Stricken,
breathless,
Open to a vast expanse,
Mesmerized by beautyʼs
trance,
Keeping continuity within my own thoughts
Becomes a
struggle.
The death of selfish plots,
Piles of rubble.
Overcome
by wondrous light,
Know full well this is
right,
Occupied.
Aghast.
All of Godʼs creation is so
VAST.

Only One so pure and holy—
Only Him who rules the

Fully

Simple.
Outrageous.
Uncanny.
