I must admit my, Dark poetry, is a tad grim, and my wife hates it when I write it. But, you must understand that I, do not, write my poetry out of malice or ill intent. I read the whole book on Milton once, and got hooked on that style. Writing Dark Poetry is a release for me, I really am a nice person, with a good sense of humor. Any pent-up anger, frustrations and even depression, goes into my poetry, not into my life. So you must understand, that my life is fairly free of these unsavory inhibitors. It has given me the freedom to be, the kind and nice person, that I wish for everyone to be. After having said all that, enjoy my, Dark poetry, as a release for your, pent-up negative emotions as well, and experience what it is, to be truly nice to other people.

To Far In Time

I saw a bridge, through whetted eyes, a bridge to far away. Each step I took, was longer than the last. A broken heart I'd hoped to mend, a heart I hoped would stay. On I strode, from walk to trot, to run. Trying to cross the bridge to far, across this earthly plain. With whetted eyes still aching, and my heart still breaking, trying to get to you. Wait for me, my love, I shall be there soon. And even in the black of night, I hear your love, when calling. I call out to you across a bridge, of earthly plain and time. I fear my love, flies against an absent ear, that does not know my name. My whetted eyes will never dry, until I know for sure. Through the mist and fog, I see a bridge, to far in time.
