I wrote this book when I was angry, upset with the lies some people close to me kept pouring on me, upset with outlook of where this entire world is going and close enough to lose the house I lived in. I found my greatest escape in writing poetry for the first time in my life.
I would like to thank Cynthia, good friend and amazing poet. She always enjoyed my short random rants that seemed to muster up to poetry on twitter. She’s been such an influence on me and I like to think I’m her yin or yang, whichever is the dark one, to her writing.
I also wanted to thank all of you that have followed me on twitter and have continued to follow my writing till this date and have talked about the book and told their friends about it. Those of you who didn’t, I would like to say to you “ you suck “ kidding, people.
One final big shout out to Felice, who is my phoenix of poets and another big inspiration in my life who has supported from me afar but always showered me with words encouragement and love. One day I hope we both can work on a book of poetry, I know when that day comes I’ll be honored to work with such an amazing artist of the century
